Community Grant Successful Applicant Announcement

Mangawhai Opportunity Factory is pleased to announce the successful applicants for its inaugural wave of funding support for the ongoing development and enhancement of the Mangawhai community.

The grant support funding will enable progress and a broad range of wonderful community initiatives.

From 19 grant applications, 9 special projects have been selected for funding ranging from 80% to 100% support for their requested project funding.

The first spread of projects able to be supported in this first funding initiative for The Factory is very exciting, providing long-term infrastructure legacies for our fast-growing community.

These coupled with selected youth development programs, providing Mangawhai youths with life skill enhancement opportunities, will encourage and reward their own personal development and community commitment.

These are the successful grant funding applicants:

0fficial Mangawhai Volunteer Fire Brigade
New premises building fund.

Mangawhai Activity Zone
New multi-purpose track.

Mangawhai Heads Volunteer Lifeguard Service Inc.

The Factory has been able to provide support to operations involved with recreational, educational, environmental, sport, community services, cultural groups and importantly local youth development.

This is very gratifying to the 50 strong team of local volunteers, with them knowing that their enthusiastic support working in The Factory is enabling so many community initiatives to realise their ambitions.

All brought about through the overwhelming support from the people of Mangawhai in providing product donations and customer support.

With this wonderful support, The Factory community grant pot will only grow during the coming years, enabling sustained and independent development funding for our wonderful community.

Thank you for all your support!
